Meet Colleen.

Prior to attending law school, Colleen was a supervisor of the Special Investigations Unit with Child Protective Services (CPS) in Arizona. This highly specialized investigative unit was part of a joint task force with the Tucson Police Department, tasked with investigating high profile child death and sexual abuse cases. Colleen was a trained as a forensic interviewer, and interviewed hundreds of children and respondents during her years with CPS - a valuable skill that has shaped her career as a litigator.

After graduating from the University of Arizona, Rogers College of Law, Colleen moved to New York, and in 2012 she opened her own practice in Brooklyn. She specialized in working with high conflict families and families grappling with mental illness or substance abuse issues. As a vetted member of the court-appointed panel, Colleen was assigned to represent children and adults in a variety of cases - from child support, to abuse and neglect matters, to high net worth divorces with complex legal issues.

Today, Colleen focuses on helping families and business partners reach a middle ground without the expense, stress, and uncertainty of litigation. Her passion is for helping parents learn to better communicate and co-parent for the benefit of their child(ren), and assisting families in navigating the disputes inherent in caring for an elderly, terminally ill or developmentally disabled loved one.

In her spare time, Colleen likes taking her two Goldens (Finley and Luna) to the beach, exploring new restaurants, and reading.
